Family History Found

So if you didn't know, a couple of weeks ago we went to my grandparents house for the weekend. My grand dad (poppa) showed us an old history book of England from the early 1900's that was his great great grandmother's (I think). A couple of years ago he told us that he was looking through his books and found some letters that she wrote to her friends. There was also a picture of his great great grand mom's friend that she drew a picture of. This was her history book in 9th grade!
Poppa with one of the letters.

Here was the picture that my great great great grand mom drew of her friend Nellie. :)
Remember, this was from the early 1900's so her friend is wearing what they wore back then.
We also found out that our great great grand dad (who is 95 and still alive) fought in World War 1 and got a metal from General Patton.

    1. Wow! That sounds really cool! The oldest book my granddad had was from 1901. 1897 was a long time ago! Thanks for commenting!
